Biggest Welcome to Our Newest Oompler, Vincent!

Join us in welcoming our newest Oompler, Vincent! He’ll be taking on the role of Growth Specialist on our Sales Team. We’re so excited to have a new team member joining the team remotely from Toronto. As always, we want our audience to know our latest member, and maybe you’ll have the pleasure of working with Vincent as he works on our Sales plans and processes.

We feel like we know Vincent already, and we want you to get to know him too. So we asked him a few fun questions to give you a sneak peek into what he is bringing to the table!

Brief professional background:

I have an educational background in Economics and Finance, with professional experience in Account Management and Business Development. I’m looking to marry my knowledge of numbers and analytics with my passion for people!

What drew you to join Oomple?

The energy from the team! The first interaction I’ve had throughout the interviewing process was just like talking and getting to know new friends, and the overall experience was great.

What do you do to unwind after a busy day at the (home) office?

After a long day, the absolute first thing I do is go outside! Being surrounded by my four walls for eight hours is incredibly draining at times, and being outside just doing any activity refreshes me instantly.

Shed some words of wisdom; what’s your most-used productivity hack?

I’ve been using Google Chrome Tabs recently, where I can sort all the tabs in my browser based on type (Google Docs, research articles, YouTube videos, admin, etc.). I used to be one of those people that had a million tabs open, but now that I’ve started organizing them in my browser, it’s become a lot more manageable.

What’s your current Netflix guilty pleasure?

I’ve recently started watching Brooklyn 99, which I’ve been heavily recommended but never had a chance to start.

What places are on your destination bucket list?

Maldives, Bali, Dubai, and the Amazon Rain Forest!

Describe your ideal Sunday!

My ideal Sunday starts with a nice filling breakfast that leads into a lazy session of either reading or listening to music and enjoying my time lying on the couch. To finish the Sunday off, I’d be able to go to sleep early (contrary to my usual sleeping schedule) so that I start Monday full of energy.

What quote do you live by?

“Failure is the mother of success” is something I heard many times growing up, and I keep that learning with me throughout my life.

Are you looking to connect with Vincent to keep up with his diligent work at Oomple? You can reach out on our Oomple platform and connect with him on LinkedIn! Until next time👋
