2021 is looking bright with our newest Content Creator, Kaili! Her uplifting spirit and eagerness to grow make her an awesome addition to our team. Plus, she sent us a photo of her and a doggo for the cover – so that’s already a great start in our books.
We can’t wait to kick start this year with her by our (virtual) side!
We’ve gotten to know Kaili a little better this week with some virtual team lunchin’ and games. So, to introduce you to our newest onboard-y, we also asked her some fun questions. Let’s see what she had to say.
What motivated you to pursue content creation and marketing?
“I knew that I’d be able to take away so many aspects of it along wherever I ended up. There are so many avenues to take, regardless if it’s more creative or analytical, and I just happen to enjoy both ends of the spectrum!”
What excites you about working at Oomple?
“I’m excited to work with a personable and dedicated team, all while helping make an impact as the company continues to grow. It’s very evident that the team works well together which makes it that much easier to be motivated and to do great work.
What’s something fun or unique that people might not know about you?
“Not only did I study marketing, but I also went to a nutrition school. I’m a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and hoping to release a cookbook in the near future!”
You’ve joined the team in January! What’s your favourite thing about winter?
“My favourite thing about winter is going for morning coffee walks. The cold air and coffee wakes you right up and it’s such a great way to get the day going!”
Since we’re still living that ole’ quarantine life, what’s your top Netflix recommendation and why?
“I’ve been watching too many Stand Up Comedies on Netflix during quarantine! I’ve watched Jenny Slate: Stage Fright about 10 times and it just keeps getting funnier and funnier.”
In a word, how would you describe the way you work?
“Organized – If I don’t have my to-do-list by my side, I’m a train wreck! I feel so much more productive if what I’ve done and what’s coming ahead is written down.”
In one colour, how would you describe your personality?
“I’d say that orange describes my personality well! I love feeling motivated and inspired to take on new challenges. I’m very extroverted and social, I enjoy chatting and spending time with people and meeting others.”
What quote do you live by?
“Enjoy the space where you are and where you are going.”
